^Yes, LOL. I remember that he was talking about it at BEA. ...The twins seems part of a religious painting of the Trecento.Shinra17 wrote:

I think the librarians filmed something. From what you posted here they used a lot twitter! So maybe!

@Paulo: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm quoting you a comment posted under one of the video at the ALA:valkeakuulas wrote:I'm really liking the fact that he's able to hold an entire conference room captivated, just goes to show that he's a talented and charming little devil! And just full of wise, quotable stuff, I really see how he says he's an old person living in a young body...(I did notice that body again, but enough about it in this thread )
:DAs a librarian, I can categorically state that we do not giggle this much. Chris Colfer must have magical powers!

Transcription of his entrance speech (the corresponding vid is in Tanita's post above):
“First and foremost, I just want to say something, I, uh…I don’t mean to be controversial here at the ALA, but umm, Disneyland is walking distance from here and there’s about what? Like a thousand of us here? I’m pretty sure we could go take that place over. Let’s go Bastille style, storm the gates, full coup! I mean, they’re not going to arrest a thousand librarians and Chris Colfer from Glee. That would be the worst press ever. You might as well club baby seals after that - I mean, not gonna happen. Umm well I’m so excited to be here, because I am such a huge, huge fan of librarians. I have been very close with I think every librarian I’ve ever encountered in my education experience. Umm, I always like the TA in elementary school and junior high and especially in high school for the librarians. So um, I remember in high school I did not take P.E. because I had ‘sinuses’ and so instead I’d go to the library and just kinda help them out. And those librarians, their names were Denise Pricket and Linda Snow, ‘course I didn’t call them Denise and Linda, but um, they were kinda bad ass librarians. I’m pretty sure that when they retired they really just went back to the CIA because some of their quotes were absolutely legendary because you know, those high schoolers, they try to take advantage of the system any way that they can. (Takes sip of a drink) Good bourbon… And I’ll never forget one day I think it was Ms. Snow that walked by a computer and she said to the guy that was at the computer and I quote, ‘Well, I doubt that’s for a health project.’ It was great. It was great. Like sometimes I would just be sitting there putting away books and be like ‘Oh my god, she’s awesome!”’

I'm always a bit surprised by comments about his hair, actually when you have straight hair, you keep a certain lenght to them and you don't mind using gel, it's easy to change radically your style very quickly. Maybe people are not used to it from a guy, so they are often surprised.valkeakuulas wrote:His face changes all the time: I guess now we know what he'll look like when he turns forty or so. I'm sorry, guys. Apparently I'll have to wait til Thursday to share the vid with you. Sucks for me cause I really wanted to brag. But I read in tumblr another person got the whole thing as well, except for 30 seconds, and they'll post it on Monday, so you'll see it soon anyway!
@fantastica: Nope, they were not signed, but that can't taint my happiness, and while I failed at getting a signed copy I succeeded at seeing CC in the flesh, hearing his conference and getting the book!
@Shinra: There were two cameramen with big equipment, so it was filmed.I'm, of course, the one thinking: "I wish Shinra was here too."
@tanita_mors: SOB? I'm Latin American. Calling that someone from these latitudes is serious business, but your envy os soothing.
@Emile: I can't wait to talk about the book with you![strike]

Paulo, i hope you are vacationing w/ your new hubby. you are newly wedded man, don't forget! I hope you took your newly wedded hubby to the conference too, and looking at each other lovingly like kurt and blaine does while chris was speaking, and then making out madly right there so Chris could get jealous and will go fetch a man of his own that night.

hay, if you are still in LA today, hop onto a taxi and go visit Chris' house! and tell us if he changed the front of the house yet. I love houses and architecture and always watch the house shows on tv. just curious. the front of is house when he first bought it was atrocious.

Is serious when a man call that to a girl, but girls we're allowed to do it, though is not an attitude from "señoritas". You know how we're Paulo lol

Hahahah you could use both in the same sentence "vete a la mierda HDP" hahahah.
@Paulo, is nice to read you're in holidays while your hubby is working for you. That's a good husband and Paulo, sorry to vent something you told me but dont you remember when you said you're a compact guy? Blaine was described with the same word o.o Lo siento.

I don't know what are the rules of stalkers, but Chris is not at home because he's busy with his book tour so what's the problem to see the house from outside?

Re: Chris at ALA Annual Conference, June 23, 2012
I love that Chris is a cat lover, because I most definitely am as well. My house is a place where I go to take care of the cats, not where I live When I buy something, I take them into account. Wicker? yeah, they'd really like it, and how long would it last before it was shredded and I would have to replace it. Warm and fuzzy comforter? Yeah, they'd really like it, but should I buy two, so I get to use one, like ever? But then they come and curl up on you, and look up at you and purr, and you say it is all worth it. I hope Brian properly vets any would-be suitors for Chris, as the representative of the masses who would love to live in the same house w/Chris.

But they rule the house, so I'm sure Brian discharges his duty, haha.
