Re: Chris Colfer Tweets
It is shame that Chris stopped tweeting. Some are saying he stopped after Darren favourited two of tweets, which a can't remember him ever doing before, but it did bring out the crazies.
I wonder if that tweet about twitter mentions came after Darren favourited his tweets, or because it was a Klainer that tweeted him with the question?
Though he sounds like he is in a really good mood and looking forward to Halloween.
By the 1 and 1/2 I am thinking he has one costume already made but hasn't finished his second one.

or the 1/2 costume is just a mask instead of a full costume? he did that a few years ago.

Re: Chris Colfer Tweets
A bit late (why do people need to sleep?) but...congratulations, Tamara!
Lucky woman.
You could simplify this design by just taking 2 pieces of A3 sized paper/cardboard, draw and/or paint the same fish on both of them (but one in mirror image), cut them out and then simply staple or glue them together at the ends (at the front and the back), so you can wear it as a hat (you'll have to staple them in a way that they fit your head).
Another option:
take a milk or fruit juice carton and shape it into a fish (with the top as its mouth), and then glue or staple it on e.g. a bathing cap or a baseball cap.
To add a fishy/scale/moist look to your costume (like a blue t-shirt) you can attach transparant plastic foil or stripes of tin foil.

It is a bit suspicious, yes. Though good for him for being so sharpwitted to give this veiled "back off with the crazy stuff on my twitter feed" signal again without directly accusing any one (fandom) in particular.ColferInspired wrote:It is shame that Chris stopped tweeting. Haha, with his reputation he could open a Halloween costume advice agency if his other careers don't work in the end.Though he sounds like he is in a really good mood and looking forward to Halloween.
Yup, I think so too. Can't wait till he shows us.By the 1 and 1/2 I am thinking he has one costume already made but hasn't finished his second one.

Re: Chris Colfer Tweets
Tamara, when I read the tweets I instantly thought: "that person must freak out". She didn't just get one but three tweets, and all where written with so much passion, that is just incredible!
So, congrats for having your little Chris interaction and I really like the fish idea. Jeez, that boy really is creative!

He should finally release his books here. After all he "borrowed" "our fairly tale characters. He also should do a book tour and I will be his travel guide. Chris just doesn't know the last bit yetGlorfindel wrote:^He's conquering the world slowly, one country after another.

Re: Chris Colfer Tweets
hahaha that would a good plan D if somehow his acting/writing/singing career don't work. This boy is damn creative, I bet Halloween is his favorite holiday because allows him to expand his imagination.Glorfindel wrote:...Haha, with his reputation he could open a Halloween costume advice agency if his other careers don't work in the end.
And Marie, I knew a mom could know how to make a hat fish. All my costumes were done by my mom.

Yeah, I really can't wait to see his costume so that the mystery can be "solved". I wouldn't mind seeing him in half a costume...ColferInspired wrote:It could be as well, like his black swan mask.fantastica wrote:or the 1/2 costume is just a mask instead of a full costume? he did that a few years ago.

^ I will let you all know. Chris will love me as tour guide, I am sure of it! Maybe I should offer jokingly on Twitter. I have this tendency to get stuff by asking without expecting anything...

Re: Chris Colfer Tweets
My 3 kids never want any of the costumes from the store (for the carnival in February), so I'm practically forced to be creative, lol.brisallie wrote:And Marie, I knew a mom could know how to make a hat fish. All my costumes were done by my mom.
And it's fun making your own costume, plus you can wear an unique costume noone else has.
I understand Chris very well about his enthusiasm for a dress-up party.

Re: Chris Colfer Tweets
I did theatrical costuming for competitions, as well as medieval and Civil War reenacting for years so my closet was filled with stuff to use for halloween. Had gotten to a point where I had more clothes for other centuries than I had to wear to work!

Re: Chris Colfer Tweets
Chris was asked yesterday what Brian would be dressed as, but after the twitter mentions tweet he disappeared, whether this was because Darren favourited of his tweets, therefore bringing out the crazies which it did, this could be in a way maybe answering her question.
Aww, Brian looks so cute, but not at all impressed.

^Really, with the things that cat puts up with he must indeed be a Jedi master just to stay calm and not lash out with his claw.
May the force be with you, Brian: you're gonna need it in that household.
