What real life person would you like Chris to someday play in a movie?

^Perish the thought!
I'll say... Chris Colfer. (Because he's probably the only famous, real life person that I'm interested in at the moment)

Well, James Dean was real so I would say him.
But my fantasy, though he is fictional. I love Chris to play James Bond.

that would be my choice to. Or maybe a Gene Kelly or something, where he can also dance and sing.

Re: Real life person
I know someone will scream at the thought of this but if, and that's a big IF, Montgomery Clifts life and friendship with Liz Taylor is going to be made into a film I would like to see Chris playing Clift, I'm still looking for that perfect Liz Taylor in my head though. I know Clifts personal story isn't that positive or inspiring but a good movie about him is well due. These last glamorous pictures prove that Chris has the look for it and we know he can act. Maybe it will scream stereotype casting in a grander sceme, but I see him talented enough to play/act in a biography movie. (A real good biopic, not the crappy network TV movies.)

Personally, I think James Franco makes a better James Dean, at least physically. I could see Chris as River Phoenix though. That could be Oscar material.

Well, not now if ever. Wrong body type ( sort of short and buff) and lack of mustaches (thank God, I hate them on people).BlueJazz wrote:sjonnepon wrote:

Of course, a great actor shouldn't be stooped by the lack of physical similarity to portray any character. It's just, when you are portraying someone who most of us remember alive you want the physical similarity to be uncanny.

Gene Kelly
James Stewart
Patrick Swayze
(Oh Lord, if either of those movies ever happened I would probably scream for months.)

James Stewart, totally. My favorite Hichcockian actor.
When we are on that page, how about Anthony Perkins.

Some great choices. I would love him to play Cary Grant or maybe John Lennon.

King Tut is good, but he'd have ti shave his head and get some serious real or fake tan for that one.

Good point. Maybe ,though he could wear a bald cap if he does play King Tut.

Re: Real life person
Speaking of King Tut (this has nothing to do with the actual topic of this thread) - Many years ago (back in the 70s) the King Tut Exhibit came to the U.S. with much fanfare and lines of visitors. Steve Martin would frequently host SNL. It seemed like back then every skit was hysterical. Anyhoo... Steve Martin did this very funny song - which became a hit on the radio:

Re: Real life person
does he sings like river phoenix though?
Personally I think it's really hard for chris to play a real life character. chris is so unlike anybody real. that's why I like him - he's so unconventional in so many ways. He doesn't resemble anybody I know. He's probably best playing fictinal and especially fantasy characters. I can see him playing an elf, or Batman's Robin. Actually Robin would be perfect for him - he can be acrobatic too.

Re: Real life person
River Phoenix is perfect for him, IMO.
And...don't hit me for saying this, but I can't help but think that there are similar features between him and Michael Jackson. The cheekbones, the jawline, the cleft in the chin, the pale skin, the body type, the nose. Before the plastic surgery got out of control, MJ circa late 80's/early 90's was almost pretty to look at, in an strange way. And whenver I see Chris in a pair of sunglasses, I can't help but think he'd make a great MJ someday. *shrugs* Given the right clothes, that fedora, those sunglasses, a wig...I'm sure he could pass for MJ circa 1990-1991, during his "Dangerous" era (and by then, he was pale white). And we know Chris can do the singing voice...now the dancing is another story!
