Glee returns to season low despite Matt Bomer:
Fox’s Glee returned Tuesday night after six weeks off the air, and brought along White Collar‘s Matt Bomer to add some guest-star charm.

Though Glee (6.7 million viewers, 2.7 adults 18-49 rating) boosted the 8 p.m. hour compared to Fox’s sitcoms in recent weeks, the musical drama hit a season low in the adult demo, dropping 10 percent from its last original back in February. Fox points out that overall TV viewership was down 9 percent in the hour compared to when Glee last aired, before Daylight Savings Time kicked in.

At least Glee came in second place in the hour and helped jump start New Girl (5.3 million, 2.7), which climbed this week, along with Raising Hope (3.9 million, 1.9).

Maybe the adults don't want Blaine.

I don't want to think that is because of the hiatus, I want to dismiss that completely.

Actually, Big brother has the lowest rating of all episodes from s2 and s3

I just hope that things won't get worse for the next 2 episodes - they are the most important episodes this season.

my magic prediction for next year: 4-5 million viewers at the most. no celebrity guest stars, no hot-tributes, no top 5 songs, no fresh young talents, no new writers, no contravercial plots, no shark jumping or anything can save this sunking ship. hope my bb saved enough money from this show to do something more fabulous afterwards. and best of luck to everyone else.

A boosted Glee gave Fox a win among adults 18-49 on Tuesday night. The series' musical to tribute to Whitney Houston rose three tenths of a point for a 2.7 rating in the demo, topping New Girl -- which brought in a 2.6 with 18-49-ers. Fox averaged a 2.4 rating with adults 18-49 for the night and 5.5 million viewers.

I agree with the self-delusion assessment that it is the power of Chris/Kurt that caused the rise in ratings

On FOX, Glee earned a 2.6, up a tenth from last week's 2.5 in adults 18-49
