I had the BEST time meeting Chris and talking about Noel!

First though. @bespectacledcolfer and I went to the Library of Congress before the signing. I hadn’t planned on getting Chris anything but while we were at the Library of Congress store I saw a book bag with L. Frank Baum’s original cover of the Wizard of Oz on it and I know how much Chris loves it so I bought the bag ob a whim. At worst I figured it was practical.
On the the signing! The Q&A was short and sweet but Chris was great!
Sam met him first. Since Sam’s phone died I have his permission to let you guys know that he asked Chris if he has a dialect coach for Noel. Chris said he does! He told Sam it was a great question. Sam will tell the story when his phone is charged again.
So then I got up to the table. I handed Chris the Wizard of Oz book bag and explained I got it earlier at the Library of Congress. He was so cute! He opened it and was like, ” I LOVE the Wizard of Oz thank you so much!” Then I said, “Can I ask you a question about Noel?” I am not kidding, he practically started glowing, and said, “Sure!” I leaned in and said, “Ian McKellen, Have you met him yet?” and HIS FACE just lit up. He said, “YES! We had dinner.” Then we commisserated about how nice and sweet Ian McKellen is because I had met him years ago. Then I told him that I was so excited for Noel and Chris just looked so happy and said he was really excited. Then he thanked me and I thanked him and we shook hands.
I cannot get over how relaxed and happy and excited he was. And he looked radiant.

I met Chris Colfer in St. Louis!
For the second time! There were 900+ people there and Chris’s flight was delayed so we started 20 minutes late. The Q&A was like ten minutes when they said it was supposed to be 30, but Chris was tired from jet lag and so yeah that happened and I wasn’t very upset because I’m not sure that boy ever sleeps. The last question was my sister’s and she asked how meeting Hilary Clinton at her book signing was compared to doing his own book signings and if he liked her memoir. I got a video of that but I don’t have it at the moment so yeah. Then I met him and completely embarrassed myself again! 
I wore a shirt that says “I said bow, not meow” with his drawing of a cat on it and Alla pointed it out and Chris was like “Oh my god I drew that! Yeah!” and I was v happy.
I don’t remember much of what he said to me but the convo was something like
Me: Hi! I’m Taylor.
Chris: It’s nice to meet you! 
then the shirt thing happned
Me: I just wanna thank you for writing these books, and for being a huge inspiration =))))))))))
Chris: I’m assuming he said something like aw, thank you!
then we shook hands
and that was it

I met Chris Colfer today….I can’t believe I just typed those words!! 
Oh my god, so my brain is still going like a million miles a second, but I’ll try to tell you everything that happened today:D 
The library opened at 9am-I got there around 930 and was about tenth or eleventh in line, but everyone before me had gotten there at 8! The Q&A was supposed to start at 630, and the library told us they would start letting us in at 530.
I met some of the most incredible ladies today and was so blessed to share my day with all of them<3. Starbucks runs, sharing food, and charging phones with the last of my computer’s battery lol. It was a beautiful day in the Lou, a little chilly in the morning and a little sunny in the afternoon. 
They let us in at about 515-520, giving us little blue tickets indicating our group number, we were number 1! 
People started filling into the library’s main room, over 800 people attended the Q&A and signing! It was Packed<3 and there were so many little ones! They were so cute:) 
We actually got started late (it was probably a little after seven) because Chris’ plane was delayed and almost canceled in DC. He told us that he threatened to tweet the pilots name if they didn’t get off the ground lol. 
The woman who was Emceeing was delightful. She was super sweet and funny and answered questions while Chris got ready to come out. I’m not even kidding when I say the room EXPLODED when he walked out and onto the stage:D He seemed awwed at how many people were there and kept trying to get a selfie with everyone lol, it was not happenin:) 
He looked A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. His hair was reaching for the stars, his shirt/hoodie was pulled over his broad shoulders like a boss, and he was wearing the sneakers I have grown to Love! 
The Q&A was Delicious! He talked about Brian, and OITNB (he told us he was only at episode 5 so not to tell him anything then put his fingers in his ears when people started yelling, it was adorable), Alex and Connor’s Mirror of Eristed, pranking Kevin McHale! It was amazing. I’ll reblog the full list later. Very rushed, obviously…it was supposed to be about 30 minutes long-I would say it was probably closer to 10 or 15. Completely understandable!
The only bad thing about being in the first group, and the late start, was they were really rushing us through. Again, completely understandable! They had a ton of people to get through. We got about 20 seconds with him before they pushed you through the line.  
The whole day I was so worried about what I was going to say when I finally met him. In the end, I was such a nervous wreck I kinda just wanted to stare at him and smile like a big goof. 
He was Beautiful. Like, you know he is going to be. You see him on tv, you hear other people talk about him…but it doesn’t quite sink in until you see him up close! His shoulders are So broad and his arms are so thick and muscular. His eyes are so pretty and his smile lights up his face. 
And guys, the scruff game was Strong. Like, Hella strong. 
I walked up and took a deep breath. He gave me a big smile and said;
"Hi! How are you?" 
I’m pretty sure I just looked at him all dreamy eyed. 
"I’m great! Especially now." 
He laughed as he signed my book and handed it back to me. 
"Well, thank you." 
(at this point I’m just being hella creepy and staring, trying memorize every feature of his face lol)
"I actually had a quick question if that’s okay?"
"Sure!"
So I asked him why he chose to call Little Bo Peep, Little Bo, when he shortened Little Red Ridding Hood, to just Red.
Guys, I swear his eyes just lit up and he smiled the biggest smile and kinda shrugged and said Something along the lines of;
"Oh! Honestly I just felt like Little Bo flowed better than just Bo. Red sounded okay without the Little attached to it so I left it off."
I just grinned this big grin, said okay and nodded. I asked if I could shake his hand and he said; 
"Of course! Thank you so much for the question!" And his voice actually sounded like the exclamation points I put in there. 
Fucking hell you guys, his hand is SO Soft! He told me Thank you again and to have a great night. 
The whole thing is kind of a blur, I just remember his giant smile and big eyes and laugh when he nodded. 
I stood in the picture pit for a few seconds to snap a few pictures-but I was still shaking pretty badly so none of them came out all that great:( I’ll post them just cause<3 
We got outside and snapped a few pictures of all of us who waited together-then I got in my car, giggled like a little girl and scream sang all the way home! 
Best. Night. Ever. !!!!!

MEeTING CHRIS COLFER
Alright so tonight I met Chris Colfer! (this post is very long so bear (bare?) with me. 
When I got there, I had to wait outside in a line for about forty minutes. I met my friend Ali in line and also befriended two lovely ladies, Taylor and Lizzie(y? correct me if I’m wrong!). When we got inside we got seats which were not in the front but I could still see Chris’ face when he was talking. We got our copy of the books and we waiting some more for the Q&A. His flight was delayed so it started a little late. 
Here’s all I remember from the Q&A:
1) he’s very funny and adorable and he knows how to make everyone laugh and he’s shorter than I thought he’d be
2) at the very beginning he said “thank you all for coming out to see little old me”
3) Q: if you could be any animal, what would you be? A: Brian. because he has the easiest life ever. 
4) Q: If you sat at dinner with 5 people dead/alive/fictional, who would they be? A: Jacob Grimm (because he doesn’t want both and Wilhelm is too hard to pronounce), the Queen, Hilary Clinton, and I can’t remember the rest because I’m a little out of it
5) Q: If Connor and Alex were at Hogwarts, what would they see in the Mirror of Erisod? A: (at this point some imbecile yelled out “talk to darren criss” and chris got confused for a second, thinking he was saying that they would see Darren Criss in the mirror) His actual answer was Connor would see himself winning the superbowl or something and Alex would see her whole family alive and well
6) Q: What was it like meeting Hilary Clinton? A: He did a very adorable impression of himself meeting Hilary Clinton and being stunned and flustered and said he wouldn’t blame any of us for being nervous.
7) thats all I remember from that but I know there were more questions
So then he left and I had to wait a little while to get in line for my book to be signed. I was in group 8. We got in line and I was pretty much slap happy the entire time. Right before it was our turn to go into the signing room, he got up to take a break (taking his diet coke with him I may add) and we had to wait a little longer. my mom joked about asking him if he washed his hands (assuming he went to the bathroom) My mom went up first and she really did ask him if he washed his hands. he laughed and said yes and I said something like “ohmygosh mom”




then when I went up (and noticed that he has a little stubble going on, very nice) I said “so my friend gave me one of these and i figured I’d give one to you” and I handed him the card above “here’s your random act of kindness” and he said something like “oh cool!” and he turned to his publicist and said “didn’t {name I cant remember} get one of these?” and he turned back to me and said thanks and I said you’re welcome and he handed me the book and I said thanks and that was it.
Overall, it was a great experience and I got to meet and talk to several new people who are just as big of fans of Chris, Glee, spn, doctor who, hp, and other things as me!

Meeting Chris
Okay it’s now an hour since I met Chris and I’m still in a bit of a fog. His plane was late and there were over 800 people at the signing so they were moving us through very very fast. I didn’t get to say half of what I wanted to but I got to look into his beautiful face for 5 seconds which was great. I told him I was so happy to see him and that I loved the audiobooks. He said they were a lot of work. I told him that I hoped he would continue to do them. We couldn’t even really get pictures but it still was an experience I won’t forget.
