- Chris on Good Afternoon America -
Mh, I wasn't sure in making a new thread about it (there are so many, really @.@), but in case you can eliminate it, right? So, in the meantime:

Re: Good Afternoon America
I adore this for several reasons:
He was labelled as an author, not an actor.
Althought it was short and these interviewees came from a loony bin it was fun and Chris seemed relaxed.
And he does dramatic fun really well, I don't think the hosts were expecting that at all.
Glee was mentioned but was not dwelled on.
+ I wish he could have had his sais and stars with him all the time to prove these I-Do-Not_Believe-You people wrong.

Re: Good Afternoon America
Thanks Emile
I like the 3D presentation of the books lol, the interview in general was fun to watch and Glee wasn't the most important thing, it was just mentioned it. And finally the 2 Truths and A Lie section lol
Can I add my favorite moment from the interview? Chris raising his right eyebrow

I loved this interview. Chris was adorable in it. I loved the two times and a truth thing. The head turning and expressons were priceless!
Re: Good Afternoon America
that head turning isn't yet as smooth as Stephen Colbert's but that's why it's so adorable. He partially tries not to burst into laughter and partially (for fraction of seconds) tries to find the next camera to aim to.

I was at work all afternoon so thank you for posting the video. You won't believe this!! until I saw this video I had no idea that Colfer was related to Jesse James. I am too!!! I am calling my dad for the copy of the family tree. Is that cool or what? I even tweeted it. It is too far back in the family tree but still.

Re: Good Afternoon America
I find the little game they played really amusing.
Hands up people who wished that Chris had his Sai swords with him
New interesting Chris facts:
- he's distantly related to Jesse James... Whoever this Jesse James is.
- he never played soccer

I have no idea who's that Jesse James but stupidly I thought in Jessie St James hahaha.
Anyway, I went to google and Jesse James could be Julia Roberts's ex-husband or was an American outlaw, gang leader, bank robber, train robber and murderer from the state of Missouri and the most famous member of the James-Younger Gang (taken from wikipedia X) LOL
Re: Good Afternoon America
the famous outlaw i think (he said a distant cosine on his grandma's side). i doubt it's a noteworthy fact that you are related to a guy who cheated on his wife with kat von d - and it became public knowledge.

I think all of us are related to the same revolutionary ape in Africa millions of years ago.

Re: Good Afternoon America
That's hysterical, fantastica! Yes, it is Jesse James of outlaw history. I called my father last night asking if he recognized the Colfer name. He couldn't recall. Wondered what his mom's maiden name was (I have no idea) and then told me all about the family history. The Mr. & Mrs. James had 18 children!! So no wonder everyone is a descendant of Jesse James (outlaw). The bloodline is so stretched it is more a waterline. I still think it is cool though that I share a family history with CC. And the ape from Africa.

Once I saw a documentary that it said that all of us we came from the same "Eve" .

O.O How is possible that your dad know about those facts? How old is he?
Re: Good Afternoon America
I called my dad because he has done family ancestry as long as I can remember. I grew up being told stories about my grandmother's relationship to Jesse James and it was really cool when I would tell my friends in school (only cool to me,though). So yeah, I was surprised when the "game" was played on GAA and that little tidbit was mentioned. My dad is 81 and he is much more interested in digging out the "research" papers than whatever relationship there is with Chris Colfer who. Please feel sorry for me as I hear more "James" family stories and shown pictures of gravestones.
Oh, and I texted my cousin and said "OMG, we may be related to Chris Colfer!" she said, "Who is Chris Colfer?" Sigh.

LOL I understand your dad don't know Chris possibly because he's not man into television or teen tv shows but your cousin?! She's not forgiven! I bet she's your age so she should know about him.
It seems your grandmother had her stories. This remind me something I heard once "The one who can, can and the one who can't, look at and applaud"
