He went to Kathy Griffen's assistants wedding. It was in the town of Turlock - which is just south of Modesto, California. I guess Chris had to choose between going to Heather's wedding or going to Tiffany Rinehart's wedding. He seems to have chosen the one that wouldn't be so in the public's eye. Interesting.

May is the season for flowers and weddings!

Both weddings were the same day ,right? This is off topic, but I'm glad he didn't received hate from gleeks for not attending Heather's wedding. I mean, he wasn't the only absent.

Apparently he has been receiving grief for it on Twitter, from the usual suspects of course. There's a good chance he had already accepted Tiffany's invitation before he even knew Heather was getting married. But certain "fans" will use any excuse to express to Chris their disapproval of just about anything he does or doesn't do .

Just my opinion, but I don't think Chris cares about the Gleeks if he genuinely wants to go to a friend's wedding.

It's not unusual to sometimes have different friends have the same wedding date.  Sometimes it's not even who you are closer to, you are invited to someone's first, RSVP and if another friend invites you afterwards, you are loath to go back on your word.

At least, that' s the way it is with me.  

It's obvious why Dianna, Matt and Darren didn't attend (IF they were invited).  Grant going makes sense as his GF is one of the Glee dancers, who all seem close to Heather.

Amber tweeted her regrets and as far as I could see, only Kevin of the rest of the Glee actors attended.    Jane, Chord, Harry, Mark and Lea didn't make it, along with Chris.

As for what I've seen on twitter, Naya, which I'm not surprised, Vanessa and Jenna also attended the wedding.

For all we know, Chris and some others in the cast weren't even invited to Heather's wedding. I'm going to play devil's advocate here, but they're not working together any longer. It's one thing to invite people that you work closely with (out of courtesy if nothing else), but they're no longer working together. Likewise, the former cast members aren't under any obligation to attend at this point if they aren't close friends with Heather.

Working on a show together doesn't meant that the cast are going to be life-long close friends. They're all moving apart and we're seeing the genuine friendships vs the friendships created by a work relationship and close proximity.

The expectation from some fans is really out of line. And of course, there are just some people who are looking for something to be critical of Chris about.

Some more about this author is he is one of Will's best friends and he has put Will in the acknowledgements.

I can forgive Oliver for having a misguided crush on Darren back in the day.

She's not doing Chris any favors with being so crude and explicit, if only because besides being a reasonably famous actor Chris is also an author of children's books.
