I know! But after turning 30 years old.
...though when I smile I have wrinkles near to my eyes, but is not more than one.

Chris the grandma needs reading glasses... I never know any young people who need reading glasses so that's rare.

This might sound completely stalkerish and OT but I've noticed he uses them reading electronical text, not printed text. Recent example was this one where he reads form an iPad, but in the Rolling Stone interview he read from the book without glasses. I don't think he remembered that by heart no matter how much it was his book/words, since he didn't even choose the excerpt. I have seen him read from paper before without specs, but when he reads from a screen he needs glasses. Maybe it has more to do with astigmatism than reading distance?
Planning on going to Lasik so I've dwelled on these things recently. For me the lighting in screens is always too bright and pulls the focus off sometimes.

I've worn glasses since second grade. I do note that when I wear my contacts I see far better, and near I have to pull my arm back a bit, whereas when I have my glasses on it is the opposite, even though supposedly they are the same prescription. I do know the brightness of computers do irritate my eyes, just like fluorescent lighting does.

good luck on your lasik surgery. I had it done more than a dozen yrs ago. it's simple and fast and you will enjoy your freedom very soon (except you may be permanently attached to your eye drops for moisturizing).

Kim nowadays lots of young people are wearing reading glasses due to the time they spend in front of a computer screen. I use a pair actually lol

Re: Apple Meet the Authors - July 19 2012
^Kids will need glasses at age 20 because of the many hours spent in front of a flickering (computer) screen, and they will need hearing aids when they're 30 because of listening to music with too loud earphones and going to concerts without wearing earplugs.
Modern Times.

Yep that the bad side of modern life. My mom is already telling me that I stop using headphones, but I use them because I don't want to disturb others with the music.

Actually I am the same, I can read text from books but when I am on the computer I have to use glasses. Though I am not in my twenties, but I do use the computer a lot.
I like seeing Chris wearing glasses.
