It's a Gemini horoscope sign, his own horoscope sign. Or is it called zodiac?
Gemini is from late May to late June.

I am thinking Will bought it for him for his birthday this year as I do not remember seeing it before then.

Gayboy Kurt, Everyteen by Mark Harris
Nothing ages more quickly or brutally than a piece of entertainment that was revolutionary for its moment. So it’s easy to look back at the debut of Glee and wonder what the big deal was. After all, it certainly wasn’t the first TV show to depict gay characters. But Glee was the first to put a gay kid front and center and to eschew patronizing “Look, he’s just like us!” cultural tourism. The tart-tongued Kurt Hummel, played by actor Chris Colfer (who astonishingly for TV was actually a teenager), was femme, high-voiced, fashion-obsessed, lonely, special. He wasn’t tokenistic or neutered—Kurt got to have a coming-out, a boyfriend, a sex life. He didn’t have to be “just like us”; he only had to be himself.
At its apex, the series was not on the fringes of pop culture but at its center, airing after the Super Bowl and turning Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” into a same-sex I-think-you’re-hot song that reached Billboard’s top ten. At least as significantly, Glee forced its largely non-gay, non-kid audience to confront the existence and the struggles of queer children in a sustained way. In that, the show accomplished something television can do better than almost any other medium—it normalized a conversation. The year after the show’s premiere, Dan Savage launched his deeply affecting and deeply effective “It Gets Better” video project. Savage understood that if one role of entertainment is to kick down a barrier, the job of activism is to make sure it never gets rebuilt.
Now a generation of queer kids who saw themselves in Glee (not to mention a generation of queer kids who didn’t) is in college arguing about gender fluidity and intersectionality. And in ten years, some of them will run for local, state, and national office. For a show that began with a bunch of high-schoolers singing “Don’t Stop Believin’,” that’s not a bad legacy.

With the classic fairy tales book just released, then at least 1 picture book and 2 novels released by June 2017 Chris has a veritable writing franchise/empire. Seriously, this is insane (in a good way!).

Kathy Griffin's Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index"COLFER, CHRIS
Actor, Author, Hope for Gay Mankind
Chris Colfer is so wonderfully talented, deserving of his Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for Glee, and I love that he’s a bestselling author, too. But he and I share something that I especially cherish, which is we love people over eighty.
When he was a guest on my talk show, and I asked him if he could be on with anybody else, whom would he choose, he said, “Angela Lansbury.” He openly mourned the loss of Elaine Stritch. This kid respects the greats and knows his classics — he’s working on a frickin’ Noël Coward biopic, for Chrissakes. I wasn’t surprised, then, to show up at his house for a backyard pajama party movie screening, decorated with outdoor couches and a popcorn machine, and see octogenarian Nebraska star June Squibb wrapped up in a blanket.
“Hi, June!”
“Hi, Kathy!”
The movie that night was the memorable ’80s campy wet dream, Mommie Dearest, with Faye Dunaway chomping everything in sight as legendary Hollywood diva Joan Crawford. Chris had indicated that talking to the screen and editorial comments were encouraged. I saw Jane Lynch there, so I walked up and said, “Jane, let’s be the Greek chorus. These kids don’t know what they’re in for, so let’s show them how it’s done.”
Jane and I had a blast yelling out Mystery Science Theater-style jokes. When it was over, Chris came up to us and with absolutely no irony in his voice said, “Can you believe that when this film came out, it got a Razzie?” (Razzies, or the Golden Raspberry Awards, are notorious prizes given out each year for the worst films, and Mommie Dearest pretty much swept in 1981.) Jane and I looked at each other, then realized he wasn’t kidding.
“Well, yeah, I can believe it,” I said. “Because it’s terrible.”
Chris was having none of it. “I mean, is Faye Dunaway not amazing?”
Jane and I could not stop laughing, but you have to love Chris’s enthusiasm, misguided as it was. He’s probably hosted Glitter soirées where all his young pop culture-obsessed friends openly bemoaned it not having won a dozen Academy Awards. Incidentally, Chris is so charming, he probably could have gotten Faye to come and huddle with June. Then he would have had at least one more in his corner defending that hot mess of a movie.

Re: Chris Colfer Appreciation Thread!--part 9
On twitter someone said that they spotted Chris at LAX on a flight to London.
My best guess is he is going over for the official opening night of " Dreamgirls" at the Westend starring Amber Riley. I believe that is Saturday.
I had hopes he was flying down for Noel Coward since the Director Joe Stephenson had twittered that it was a shooting week, but the script he teased had ' young Ian"on it which means in all likelihood its the Ian McKellen documentary he's also filming.

He wore that coat on Glee, probably took it with him after the series ended:
It's indeed a very nice coat, and he looks gorgeous in it.
I'm glad he went to see Amber's opening night in 'Dreamgirls', just like she went to the 'Struck by Lightning' premiere.

when the show is over they asked everybody to pick whatever they wanted. Good way to get rid of custom-fitted expensive clothing.

^Yes, and there are few men who would fit in costumes fitted for Chris.
I read a post on tumblr once where a girl had purchased some of Kurt's clothes that the studio sold after Glee finished, and that even she, as a small girl/woman, had trouble getting into them because they were so tight.
