Thank you! I'm really nervous now, my licensing is getting nearer now and it's feeling real now lol, I've worked my socks off for two years to get here but it always seemed out there if you know what I mean!

Re: Bistro on the corner
I have been so busy and have missed this forum.
But I have some great news...
I had some chest and abdomen scans about a month ago and my onconeoligist told me that the cancer is gone from my breast, lungs and pancreas. But I still have some in my liver.
They took me off chemo and now I have to be put through early menopause as I have to have an implant in my stomache every four weeks and a tablet once a day to stop me from producing estrageon.
I am still having treatment every three weeks.
The chemo was damaging the nerves in my feet and I was going to the hospital with a number of infections.
I am healthy but still get fatigued a lot.

Thank you everyone.
I am not actually cancer free, but hoping I still will be some day.
So glad I get to keep my breast now.

Re: Bistro on the corner
that election ruined my and my kids' sleep. I have to postpone tonight's family dinner gathering until this weekend so everybody can have ample time to recover. meanwhile, life goes on. we have had 8 years of GW Bush. we will deal with it.
I am sure Chris aren't happy either. Aside from the stock market tumble, the Canadian immigration website was also crashed last night. LOL

I hear the VP is for conversion therapy.
Everyone is scared for their rights.
I don't know what to think anymore.

Re: Bistro on the corner
Hi everyone,
Just posting to say hello. I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. Life has been busy the past six or eight months. I have been working way too hard way too many hours a week, but that is slowing down finally. Though I haven't posted in a while, I do check in here frequently.
Other than work, I have just been trying to continue to do some travelling. I went to Austria and Germany last year. This year, I'm heading to Italy and Ireland. Just living and enjoying life, and trying to see more of our world.
I'm heading to New York soon, and I'm going to see "Sunset Blvd"! I'm so excited. It was the first show I saw on Broadway, and I've wanted to see it again for 20 years! And you know how much I love "As If We Never Said Goodbye."
I spent some time making some adjustments to the banner on the forum, and also updating the little intros for each section of the board. It was long over do. I hope you like it
I hope you are all doing well, my friends.
Karen

Re: Bistro on the corner
^How nice to hear from you again, Karen. I was wondering how you were doing.
I'm glad you're seeing so much of Europe during your travelling, and a bit jealous that you have such easy access to Broadway musicals. Enjoy Sunset Boulevard! (Saw it in London about 20 years ago too, wow... how time flies.)
I love the new banner!
