i don't want to make any statements regarding this because I know nothing about the truth. all i can say is Mark is now in deep trouble. It's a shame that the glee run should have helped him collect enough money to make a comfortable living for the rest of his life assume he invests wisely. now it appears that he will squander all away in legal expenses alone.

If it turns out to be true, then it is bad indeed. The article I read was very poignantly saying that Mark was "demoted" for his last season, as if that would have anything to do with this particular thing.

Press, especially some unprofessional entertainment journos, do not seem to have any talent at writing and especially verifying sources.

I'm not that old, but I blame internet journalism, which cuts out the editors job. Every "journalist" just posting their own news as news and then never having to retract after the damage is done if the story turns out to be false or unsourced.

It really goes to show that you never really "know" a celebrity. I feel horrible about this for everyone involved. You've got the cast who worked with Mark for years and some of which are still on friendly terms with him. This has got to be an enormous shock to them. You've got the fans, none of which had any real clue and were invested in his character and who'd liked him as a performer. And you've got the children who were victimized to make this pornography... there's no way to calculate the damage done to them.

I don't know what to make of it, or why this is happening. Mark has had some serious problems and I think that his darker side wasn't totally hidden, but this is an entirely different kettle of fish. Once you get into child porn, there's no going back. The facts are still not completely known and the news is very fluid (with reports varying about what was actually found on his computer - some are claiming "thousands" while others only "a hundred" images on his computer). And sadly, he's hardly the first fairly famous person to get caught up in something like this. We'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out.

I'm also making a very concerted effort to separate Mark from his character, otherwise I'd have a very difficult time watching Puck and his overly sexualized behavior.

i don't know if anyone is watching supergirl, but mellisa has really won me over. i was quite baffled by her casting initially, but she is a capable lead,quite likable in the part and has shown some decent range. and her chemistry with calista flockhart and the actress playing her sister is fantastic.

Haven't seen the series, but saw few scenes on YT and she is doing great. For me Melissa is proving what she is capable of, when the character and story is good. Btw, do you know about Supergirl and The Flash uncoming crossover? Can't believe two former actors from Glee, who weren't taken so seriously on that show, are now acting along Smile

Hi, I haven't visited here in years but I saw Matthew Morrison play in soccer aid here in the UK this weekend and was thinking about the cast post Glee. I never would have predicted that Mark would get arrested for possessing child porn or that Mellisa would lead a successful prime time TV show. Hollywood is a crazy place. I am glad to see that the land of stories book series is still going strong.

Grant Gustin on 'The Flash' is really good and he's very charming. I watch 'The Flash' with my 2 youngest kids, and we really enjoy it.

I watched a few episodes of 'Supergirl', but I find it a bit boring and flat, although I love Calista Flockhart. But good for Melissa.

Who would have thought that of all the Glee kids Harry would have so much success as an actor now? (Since on Glee he mostly was in the background and barely used, only to show his abs and dancing, and to make bad Asian jokes about.) I don't watch his current series, but I see lots of gifs of him/his character on tumblr.

And Amber is going to be in London soon. I thought about going to her musical when I (plan to) visit London next spring, but I will probably prefer a few other musicals I've been longing to soo over hers.

Kevin seems to be doing nice with quiz shows and some acting, and Jenna is paving her own way also. Naya is on 'Devious Housemaids', and Diana and Heather are acting in small/indie movies.
Darren is going to tour with 'Hedwig' and last weekend sang in 'The Little Mermaid' as Eric
in Los Angeles (although from wht I heard he wasn't very good in it).

Matt originated 'Finding Neverland' on Broadway, which was very succesful, and is now acting on TV and I think a movie's coming up?
Lea is the only one (besides Darren in a guest role on AHS) who still seems to be in Ryan Murphy's grace, and is in 'Scream Queens'. Plus she's doing some other little acting gigs, and is planning on releasing her 2nd album (although I doubt it's going to sell very well).
Chord is also recording some songs, although I have no idea if he will be releasing an album.

Jane and Jayma always seem to have work, so no worries about them. I wonder if Dot-Marie is doing anything new, actingwise?

And then there's Chris. It's been fairly quiet for a while (and maybe with his mom passing away that has been for the best), but there are some very nice projects to look forward to in the near future now:
- the AbFab movie, that will premiere this month,
- the TLoS5 tour (which will be bigger than ever, according to Chris),
- working with Julie Andrews on a cute kid show about Broadway (so excited for this!),
- and he will finally be filming the Noel Coward biopic soon.
Oh, and his Young Adult novel is supposed to come out this year as well, right? neutre

Chris only reveals things if they are confirmed. And knowing him he probably has a tonne of other projects he is working on in the background that we as fans won't know for quite a while.

He did mention about TLOS film possibly this summer in that he might have found the right production company.

Though for all we know his mum's birthday maybe soon and I am sure that will be very difficult for him as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas.

With Chris I get the impression that the delay in filming the Coward biopic resulted in his not being able to committ to other major acting projects for over a year.

Chris' writing career alone is an incredible achievement. Consider how many books are already published to his credit within the last several 5 years he can be deservedly considered "prolific". Not many other authors are this productive and successful.

Even if he never acts again, he can pay for his mansion(s) and household plus semi-annual Disney trips Smile

for the rest of his life with the book royalties alone. With that income he can venture out to do whatever projects he like, for money or not.

Yes, I think this is true. At least no long term commitments (like several months filming for a movie, a theatre production, or a tv series).
Little projects, like his 2nd appearance on 'Hot In Cleveland', the AbFab movie (in which he will appear probably only a few minutes) and being a guest on Julie Andrew's new kid show, were possible because they take up only about a week of time.

I'm still convinced that Chris being needed for the shortened 6th season of Glee (and therefore not being allowed time off to go film in England) delayed the Noel Coward biopic the first time, and after that the finances for the movie were used for other things so the filming was delayed again.
Although maybe all this delay was for the better in the long run, as it seems that more people got involved in the biopic and it was decided that the production would be bigger than originally planned.

Thank God that Chris has his writing as well. Besides the financial security his writing provides him with, it's also something that will keep him well occupied in times when he's not acting.
And as @ColferInspired already noticed: who knows what other things Chris is working on at the moment that he can't/won't reveal yet.
After all, Chris is not someone to sit still and lay back for a while! Razz

Well a lot of casting for movies and TV show guest starring roles seem to happen pretty close to filming, within a month or a couple of weeks. Just look at the tweeter feed from the major industry press like the Hollywood reporter or Variety who announces casting news. I think that if Chris really wanted to do more acting he could have. As far as I know the postponements of Noel came in jumps of several months at a time, long enough practically speaking to take other roles. However he's a smart guy who I am sure is waiting for the right projects.

Writing all those books post Glee must have been full time job in it self. He's been busy.

It should be noted that most successful book series usually get film deals (not necessarily meaning it will be filmed, but just that the option has been taken on them) but unless the author has a lot of clout, (say a JK Rowling)the author has little to do with how the series is adapted. Of course some authors don't care at all and just collect the paycheck.

My suspicion is that Chris has the luxury to turn down any deals for the Land of Stories where he doesn't have some input as to how the books will be adapted. In interviews Chris was quoted that initially he was opposed to any film adaptations, but now feels the book series can stand on it's own.

I think that sort of "behind the scenes" stuff also has kept Chris busy in the last year , as others mentioned, not being on our screen doesn't mean he hasn't been hard at work.

I totally agree that chris will want a great deal of control over any adaptation of his own work. Most authors do not have that luxury although JKR did as far as casting is concerned, and I heard that was very unusual. Knowing Chris, he definitely wants his stories told HIS way. After all, there will likely be more movie watchers than book readers.

Naya's and Lea's second or third book (I can't keep count), are released only about one week apart...they get the full impact of former Glee people promo from each other.

I am actually considering buying Naya's book if it really is her "story". Lea's have been more of a selfhelp book kinda style.

I have absolutely no interest in Lea's books, as they seem little more to me than ghost-written self-promotion. If Naya's book has any of the dirt on what was going on behind the scenes at Glee, it will sell well because people are really curious about what tanked a once promising show.

Glad to see Chris so supportive of one of his cast friends. It's rather obvious who he's stayed in contact with and who he cut loose.
