6x10 "The Rise and Fall of Sue Sylvester"
You all know what to do.
ON AN ALL NEW GLEE, FRIDAY, MARCH 6TH,
Blaine and Kurt’s honeymoon is unexpectedly cut short when they learn of a fire at Dalton Academy, and that the entire school has burned to the ground. In light of the tragic news, Will, Kurt and Blaine decide to merge the now homeless Warblers with the undermanned New Directions and form a new show choir supergroup… one that may take some getting used to for all the students.
While almost everyone else is on board with the recent developments, Sue is not. She commits herself to seeing that the new union of the former rival school’s teams does not stand, and discovers she faces opposition from the least expected of sources. As Sue proceeds to try and undo the merger of the two show choirs, her darkest secrets – some even she didn’t know about – become exposed to the unforgiving light of day, leaving her to accede to one unfathomable decision while simultaneously creating a surprising – but not unwelcome – opportunity for her.
Meanwhile, Rachel returns to New York, to try and get herself readmitted to NYADA with surprising results that could either change everything or precipitate another all-too familiar experience, and Will and the others get potentially devastating news that concerns them all.

Who is ready for Blarren's song to hurt their eardrums?

Nice to see Jane leading a song. She's my favorite of the noobs. And I'm strangely attracted to Alistair.
I get that Blaine is supposed to be in shock, but that delivery as so wooden that I'd be afraid that Kurt is going to come away with splinters.
Yeah... can see that Jane isn't thrilled with having the group that rejected her joining them.
And seriously... how the hell does an entire academy burn down? It's a whole bunch of buildings, not just one.
I'm just going to turn my brain off and enjoy the pretty Kurt.

Pointless cold opening song. Oh joy. I don't know the song. Don't care about it. I can't say it's a bad performance. I just don't care about it.
Oh, joy, Klaine is watching. Poor upset woobie Blaine. Gosh, his thank you to Mr. Schue was just horrible. His acting is just so laughably bad. Seriously, he just gets worse and worse.
I have no idea what Becky just screeched.
Samuel Larsen is going to be in this episode? His name just came on the credits.
More and more, I just don't care about anything that has happened so far.
Why am I watching this crap?
This scene with Becky went on way too long.

Same question I'm asking myself. We may be masochists. Oh Chris, this is how much I love you.

Rachel, you did not "claw" your way back. You were carried on the backs of those who deserve success far more than you because they actually worked for it. I can only hope that Ms. Tibdeaux rakes you over the coals before your inevitable success.
Sue's storyline gets even more pointless.

Of course, Rachel gets to go crawling back to NYADA. She's a special snowflake.
How did superintendent know about the Hurt Locker? Ugh. The Klaine crap. Yes, superintendent, Klaine is very wrong.

I really only watch to post about it here.
Which reminds me, I think I still have a couple of episodes from Season 3 that I need to review here, since at one point I had a plan of getting all of the episodes reviewed on this board. And I think at least some of them are the ones that the grease stain missed.
ETA: Looks like I have episodes 6-13 to review from season 3.

I can't stand Geraldo. He is such a conceited bastard. He'd get along great with Blaine.
I might have enjoyed this thing with Sue if it was season 1 or 2, but now I really just don't care. It's all just so pointless. Jane Lynch is awesome, but it's just so pointless.
So, they brought Sam Larsen back to say "She cut my dreads off." That thing was so pointless. And Kurt had to talk about that stupid elevator thing? Ugh.

Gods... that was just unbearable to sit through. Thankfully I have laundry to do for a distraction.

I admire the strength of those watching. I could do the live stream, but to have the annoyance of it cutting in and out, along with the annoyance of actually watching the show is too much to contemplate. I never even watched last week, and I like the noobs. Kurt is the only reason to put up with this, and I need the option of the FF button.

I'll give Jane credit, she's trying to make this mess work. She's so much better than this show deserves.
Cannot believe that the episode is half over and absolutely nothing has been accomplished.

This gifs I am seeing of Kurt trying to comfort Blaine looks like someone is trying to comfort a child.
Kurt looks good though.

In time to watch Sue performance...umm Jane has improved her voice, just that.

Exactly. The meta is painfully obvious my head hurts with how many times I've rolled my eyes. Though many words have been spoken, nothing much has happened.
Re: 6x10 "The Rise and Fall of Sue Sylvester" Watch & Discussion thread
And now, we have more of the Sue/Geraldo interview. Jane is fine in the scenes, but again, it's just going on way too long, and it's just pointless.
Wow. "The daughter that I just couldn't love." That's cruel, even for Glee.
Best part of the episode. Seeing Geraldo get beat up.
So, Sue is fired, and yet she is in the auditorium around kids. OK then.
The Trolley song was very cute. Jane and Carol are two ladies who know how to sell a performance. And Carol is amazing to be doing this at 81. God bless her. She's a classy lady.

I'm just trying to find some redeeming value to this episode and coming up empty. The Sue drama (despite Jane's best efforts) is just played out. There's just no point to any of this.

Rachel got a musical! Oh what a surprise
Re: 6x10 "The Rise and Fall of Sue Sylvester" Watch & Discussion thread
Of course Rachel gets cast after one audition. Quitting a show? Feh... that's nothing.

So Carmen says that Rachel is humble and sorry? Rachel is going to keep on begging Carmen.
OK, so why isn't Kurt there for the most recent Rachelvention. Of course, Rachel got the part. Oh, Rachel remembers Kurt. Wonder if we'll get some nice Kurt snark about her. Probably not.
Of course, Blaine wants to keep the blazers. You know, this whole storyline is just a repeat of the football team/glee club thing from season two.
So, VA guy says Sue never coached a show choir, but she did. She coached oral intensity in season one (or was it season two).
VA performance. More pointlessness.

I'm really just exasperated with this whole thing. No call back for Rachel, because that's for the people who aren't Special like she is. No having to actually work her way back. No, she just has to show her face in New York and the opportunities just come pouring in.
Just had a happy thought... that little shrine that the Warblers had with Blaine's blazer and bow ties... they're all ashes now.

If I were Sam, I'd stop worrying about Rachel. She's a grown up, and last season was clear she only wants to be a Broadway star.

What the hell with those looks??? I'm half horrified, and half giggling.
