6x08 "A Wedding"
You all know what to do.ON AN ALL NEW GLEE, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20th
As gleeks old and new pitch in to help get ready for Brittany and Santana’s wedding, the happy, albeit nervous couple settles on a few final details for their upcoming nuptials. The planning stage hits an impasse, however, when the two brides have a stark difference of opinion over whether or not to invite Sue. While Brittany, who credits Sue with bringing them together in the first place, is in favor of extending an invite, Santana is vehement about refusing to allow Sue’s attendance. But the former Cheerios! Coach is not so easily dissuaded and still has a few characteristic tricks up her sleeve. And the supremely superstitious Brittany is thrown for a loop when Santana sees her in her wedding dress before the big day.
Meanwhile, when Kurt and Blaine finally reunite as a couple they are all too aware of the mistakes and regrets of their past, but supportive words from family and friends inspire them to take a sudden and daring leap, and Tina announces her unorthodox decision to ask former boyfriend Mike Chang to marry her, but while most of her guy friends are supportive, fellow former flame Artie remains dubious about the plan.
SPECIAL GUESTS:
Brittany S. Pierce - HEATHER MORRIS, Santana Lopez - NAYA RIVERA, Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman - MARK SALLING, Kitty Wilde - BECCA TOBIN, Tina, Cohen-Chang - JENNA USHKOWITZ, Mike Chang - HARRY SHUM JR., Burt Hummel - MIKE O'MALLEY, Carole Hudson-Hummel - ROMY ROSEMONT, Wade ‘Unique’ Adams - ALEX NEWELL, Sugar Motta - VANESSA LENGIES, Walter - HARRY HAMLIN, Jane Hayward - SAMANTHA MARIE WARE, Spencer Porter - MARSHALL WILLIAMS, Roderick - NOAH GUTHRIE, Mason McCarthy - BILLY LEWIS JR., Madison McCarthy - LAURA DREYFUSS, Alma Lopez - IVONNE COLL.

Nothing like watching what's guaranteed to be an epic disaster of an episode when you've only gotten three hours sleep the night before. If I get too incoherent in my rantings, feel free to smack me upside the head.

Instead of throwing rice, can we throw rocks at Blaine?
I'm totally sick of Brittany's idiot family. They're about as funny as an infected cyst.

Kurt in those artfully torn jeans...
Tina, hay bales are only around 50 pounds. Stop complaining. I spent an entire summer working on a dairy farm throwing around hay bales in high school. It's not that big a deal.

Don't you have to order wedding dresses like six months in advance?

Oh, so, at least Glee addressed the issue with gay marriage not being legal in Ohio.
The story of Brit's birth was creepy, but it was old Glee-ish.
The bar collapsing might be a good thing--if Kurt isn't there.
So, Artie is the wedding planner, but now Kurt, Tina, and the new kids are doing the work. OK. And Kurt to the rescue! Burt can officiate!
The wedding scene montage was cute, but reminded me of 27 dresses.

Well, that's the fastest, most anticlimactic reconciliation ever.
Of course Blaine wouldn't think that there's anything wrong with proposing to someone that you're not even dating...
I feel brain cells dying...

Serious, Kurt, you are going to the wedding with Blaine? Never mind that there was no talk that Klaine was getting back together. Now, Walter is a Klaine stan!
So, wait, Kurt tells Walter he is going to the wedding with Blaine, but then after the conversation when Walter tells Kurt to go after love, he has to run to Blaine and ask him to the wedding? This makes now sense.
So, Tina is going to ask Mike to marry her. She goes to Puck, Blaine, and Artie? Did she ever even have a conversation with Puck in the entire series?

In Glee fantasy land every dress you put on is a perfect fit.
Re: 6x08 "A Wedding" Watch & Discussion thread
So Chris looked great in those jeans and that is all I got.
I will say, Heather seems less monotone. Also, Naya's acting so far this episode isn't doing it for me.
I really hate how they are using Finn. I thought the conversation about Burt and Carol both losing first loves and moving on was so flippant. I can't deal with it.
ETA: Also, 100% done with Santana's attitude this season.

Re: 6x08 "A Wedding" Watch & Discussion thread
I'm trying not to read too much into the Kurt/Walter conversation since everything in this episode is aimed at shoving Kurt to the alter as expediently as possible. But there was the grain of truth that Kurt is lucky that he will be able to be open about himself his whole life. I suppose part of the appeal of being with Kurt is the fact that Kurt was what Walter could never be.
Kind of cute that when Klaine was reenacting American Gothic for the picture that Kurt was in the man's position. Maybe the show has finally given up on him being the lesser half of the pairing.
Could the introduction of Blaine's mother be any more anticlimactic?

I suspect that American Gothic thing might have been adlibbed.

Re: 6x08 "A Wedding" Watch & Discussion thread
Santana is just as horrible as Sue.
So, Carol and Blaine's mom had never met and they dated off and on for like four years? OK, that make sense.
And now, lets completely destroy Burt. What happened to the guy who cared about his kid? There is no way that Burt would think that Kurt marrying Blaine would e seconds after reuniting would be a good thing.
And it is offensive as hell that they are using Finn's death to get Klaine hitched.
Oh, joy, Sue is here.

Alright, I'm going to admit that the whole scene between Santana and Brittany was totally sweet.
Silly question... why is Blaine's mother attending Santana and Brittany's wedding?

I was actually thinking that this was probably the best acting we've seen from Heather on the show.

I hate that they are using Finn, too. It's like everyone in the universe has to so how perfect Klaine is for each other despite the fact that nothing has shown that they are compatible.

Because she has to be there for her dirtbag son getting married. Nothing else makes sense.

Not watching but RIB lost any chance of me supporting a Klaine marriage.

The whole Klaine wedding story reads like it was written by a 12 year old Klaine stan. There's no way to take this at all seriously.

Re: 6x08 "A Wedding" Watch & Discussion thread
So, Sue gets Abuela to go? OK then. I guess it's good she's there.
Now, Brit's dream is for Klaine to get married. She was as creepy as Sue, and now Santana is as creepily involved too. Kurt looks once again like he is going to his execution. Blaine doth protest, but he wants it. You can tell he wants it. Blaine just wants to be married.
This is so much worse than I thought. Kurt doesn't want it, but everyone is pushing for it. Let's just continue taking the decision out of Kurt's hand.

Kurt looked through that whole scene like I feel... knowing that this is utter bullshit but it's easier to just go along and save your remaining brain cells.

Re: 6x08 "A Wedding" Watch & Discussion thread
If Kurt gets one more anvil dropped on his head, he's going to get renamed Wile E. Coyote.
Of course, it makes total sense to have a couple who just reconciled after breaking an engagement because they were totally unable to live together the two times they tried get married. That’ll fix everything…
Have to admit that I love Kurt's tux jacket. It looks similar to the Vivian Westwood tux he wore a few years ago.
