bounce  I'm so happy for Chris. I've seen a few episodes of the show and I like it, it's funny.
According to some fans of HIC Victoria also mentioned in an early episode that her son is gay.

That was her third husband that she suspected was gay as explained by someone that has watched the show right from the Pilot and every single episode aired.

I don't want Chris playing a gay character, he needs to show he is believable in straight role.

I hope that's true. His characters sexuality shouldn't be an issue at all like in SBL.

gay or straight, bi or tri (is there such a thing? who cares!), if chris is acting in a show NOT called glee, i will watch from beginning to end. i am a million percent positive that the greasy-haired creature won't be on this show, and that alone will make me VERY happy regardless of how good/bad this episode is.

i am so glad this new broke out today. i was just about to murder someone when i read the spoiler thread about 5.18. that show can go to hell. i will give it both my middle fingers and middle toes.

The sad thing is there are more straight roles in television and film then LGBTIAetc roles, which is why I want this to be a straight role.

5.18 can burn down into the fiery pits of hell, as I won't even be downloading this piece of crap.

You're right.
That simple fact alone will make this show a 1000 times better to watch than Glee.  danse3

I think I'll download a few episodes of this season, just to see what the characters are like and how Chris' role fits in in all that.

I'm not a fan of Hot in Cleveland, but I'll definitely watch the episode Chris is starring in.

Now this is news to get excited over. I've more or less given up on Glee now...

According to  TVTickets.com  his episode films next Thursday, April 17th but no tickets are available.

And if you don’t have TV Land, it appears you can see episodes at their website. http://www.tvland.com/tv-schedule/hot-in-cleveland

All tickets sold out.

Love it when I see something like this.  wub

It was probably sold out long before Chris was announced as a guest.

Tickets for TV shows are free (it's illegal to sell them).  There are websites where you can see what's available.  Usually, shows sell out weeks (or even months) in advance. The episode after Chris appears is also sold out, so I would tend to believe that it was sold out before Chris was announced.

Popular shows generally have waiting lists of several weeks/months for audience tickets for filming. HIC has a strong following so I'm sure that the tickets for this show were distributed long before Chris was even announced (and am betting that they're being flooded with requests now).

This definately helps raise Chris's profile. I think that he's gotten as much out of Glee as he can and showing that he is more than capable of playing a character that is completely different from Kurt is going to help him in getting work further down the road. He's being very smart in laying down the groundwork for his post-Glee career.

^True. What I also like is  that he will play one of the main characters' son, so more appearances can be possible, if they like him. (and why would they not? suure  )

So this is for CBS, right? No affiliation to Fox? That is always a plus that other networks are "allowed" to cast Chris in their shows.

No, it is recorded at CBS's studio but it is TV Land original programming (a cable channel, not network).
