Chris is aware of his book being on B & N best sellers list:

apparently chris' fans are not gonna fall for Amazon's nasty tricks. they are flooding to BnN and i am sure BnN are laughing their ass off about the situations now. chris obviously also won't be hurt because of it. it will be sad for not well-known authors however.

I have a feeling that all of this will be resolved in the not too distant future. Whether one agrees with Amazon's tactics or not, they are still one of the biggest vendors and no publisher can afford nowadays to not have their books sold through Amazon. I'll bet that before Chris's release date that this will be settled.

This is nice.  hapitgh

Anyone else think there's also a little B&N promotion slash passive agressiveness towards Amazon from Chris behind these 2 tweets?  sifflou

And TLoS3 isn't just bestselling at B&N: it was #2 in the children's books category age 9-12 at Waterstones for a while yesterday.  rooots
(So it's not just the fact that the B&N books are signed that boosts the sales.)

Yay!

Good for Chris  Smile . And good for Barnes and Noble as well, they end up benefiting because of the Amazon-Hachette feud.

I think this will backfire on Amazon, because popular authors like J K Rowling, Malcolm Gladwell and Nicholas Sparks are affected. Even though it's not yet in the mainstream news, people will realize soon enough and flock to other sources.

Barnes and Noble is also offering signed copies of the book as well. Same price. Not as great as getting it signed in person, but a great alternative to driving a couple states.

you can buy a signed copy and then ask chris to sign more (such as your name and other personal stuff) on it, or on the back... make it double signed.

Don't worry, Chris don't look dehydrated, or as he just lifted off the floor after he fainted.

Ok girls, do you think he's a kind of bookstore's slave?

You don't sign 3000 books in 3 hours  if you get a "break".

I'm sure there were whips and chains involved.   phr34r

Probably he was connected to a tube that carries that liquid is used in hospitals...what is the name? Oh serum.

And I think you should stop watching S&M films/series.

he does have help though - somebody opens the book and turns it to the right page then hands it to him. all he has to do is "swoosh" it w/ the pen. then the next open book is gently pushed in front of him.... it's like an assembly line production.

Maybe the books' signatures will be in red, as Chris was forced to scratch his signature in his hand with a blood quill over and over again.   sw022  sadica

That's so painful and cruel!

But I've to confess I gave credits to Umbridge for having such a good method of punishment. I can't believe I'm saying this lol

Umbridge was very creative in her cruelty. Definitely one of the most evil characters in Harry Potter.

Poor Chris though. I wouldn't be able to do that for 3 straight hours, even if someone helped me pick up and flip the pages of the books.

Maybe Umbridge was even more evil than Voldemort in a way. Brrrrrr, she was basically a Nazi.  Evil or Very Mad

Chris' hand must have hurt after signing for 3 hours straight, or at least have been numb and/or caused muscle-ache the next day.
And it's all on us, for advertising and ordering all those signed books.  ooppss
