He must like the name, because I remember reading in the past that cats learn two syllable names easier for whatever reason. I know the kitties I've had, and I've had many, seem to learn multi-syllable names faster than the ones I've given one syllable names. I think that is also why so many kitties respond to here Kitty, Kitty. Tone of voice and the right amount of syllables. I swear, I haven't begun my drinking game yet.

A one syllable name must sound like just a random sound to them...like a grunt or a meow. But with two or more syllables they know: "Hey, that's my name!"

There are exceptions, of course.  

haha, my cats have official names but that's only for the vet record and when we refer to past cats. i always call all of them "mimi" in front of them and that's the only name they respond to. mimi is chinese for kitty cat. most of hte chinese cat owers call them "mimi".

p.s when we talk to our pets (dogs or cats or whatever) we tend to use baby talk and raise our pitch. they can read tone of voice.

This is so true! Especially cats, for me. Cats are so cute and beautiful, I cannot help but talk babytalk to them.

I was so overexcited that I should have realised what I wrote.

But for bookstores to sell out, this is what I want to hear. 

I remember I had to put mine on hold before I went to grab it because I was worried someone else would snatch it up!

I wonder if TLoS will be another beststeller. I hope so.

It might not do as well as the first one did, but I hope it does well! It really is a better book!

Does anyone know when we may find out that the book is another bestseller (hopefully - fingers crossed!)?

Wouldn't that be hilarious?! Chris has a sense of humor, I'm sure he'd love that! It would be something new for his fans to "tease" him with rather than llamas.
