it's not a coincidence that kurt/chris lovers are also cat lovers (not all, but many of us are). chris/kurt and cats oscillates on the same frequency.

Yes! Our king is a cat lover also.

As I said, I really love and respect how all of you always react to my dead cat. It is so cute and nice and sincere. But for me, who obviously knows my cat is dead, it is a bit amusing to get those posts almost every few weeks. But please, no one of you, take it personal. I have my little snicker and just remember happy times.

P.S. I SO want a new cat. Like desperately. Life isn't fair.

 The first think I thought when I saw this pic was "They have the same stare", that awesomely scary.

P.S I feel like a stranger when you say that Kurt/Chris lovers are mostly cats lovers, because I'm in the middle, I love both cats and dogs by equal.

Don't worry if there is a stranger here it's me because I'm really not a big cat lover. I know it's stupid because they are so small compared to people but I've always been kind of scared of them.

My favorite animals are my cats but overall I love cats and dogs equally...

well, my favorite animals are sharks  , but i also love cats and dogs equally. although, unless it was like a westie or a beagle, i'd never have a dog in my apartment (imagine keeping my favorite, a siberian husky, in a 40 m2 apartment). cats on the other hand you can have in any size apartment or house.

I hope I have this quote thing down. I think that Chris, Brian, and my kitty (see avatar) all look alike. I don't, however, think that I look like my kitty. At least I hope not

Cats are my favorite domestic animals, but I have to admit that I'm a bit afraid of dogs, probably because I was bitten by one when I was a small child. And since dogs can sense when you're nervous or unsure around them this doesn't help matters whenever I try to befriend a dog.

I love that pic of Chris and Brian: they really have the same stare.

Marie, I am also wary of dogs. If they aren't pets belonging to my family, I don't like them very much. You've never heard of a cat mauling someone before. Also, they are just so LOUD! Barking, barking, BARKING...it is so annoying! It kind of annoys me how they run around like spazzes too. Chris captured this aspect perfectly when he was writing about Buster in TLOS2.

i love all animals, except insects which often turn my stomach upside down. it's true that dogs (and other animals too apparently, but dogs especially) can sense your emotions and whether you are a dog lover. My mom's apartment super has a dog. my mom always told me how nasty that dog was because everytime she passed by he would bark at her. well, my mom doesn't like any animals, and would never allow me to have any pets when i was young. all she would say was "dirty", "trouble", etc. anyway finally i met that "nasty" dog one day, and he saw me from afar but didn't bark at all. he was very sweet looking. I then squatted down and made some high pitched "baby talk" sounds to him, and he came to me wagging his tail, full of tender affection. when i told this to my mom she didn't believe it. then she determined that that dog "discriminates" her. i think she shows "annoyed" on her face (subtly) when she sees the dog, so the smart dog automatically associates her as being "unfriendly". you see? dogs can tell people better than people can.

personally i like bigger dogs, like huskies, and i absolutely LOVE wolves - not to own them, but to watch them, for they are the cats of the canines - independent, resourceful, and outright gorgeous.

sorry being OT. i can't stop whenever i talk about animals.

I like dogs, have had them in the past. But giving the places where I lived it was just not convenient to have one.

Cat's are more convenient and a lot quieter.

My Kurt is extremely loving, affectionate and just has this wonderful personality. He is quite obedient as well.

Keira can be loving and affectionate, but sometimes she gets moody and just glares a lot of the time and avoids me.

I don't really have the patience to look after one, but if I did have another one, I would love to have a collie.

True story. He chose it, he wouldn't come out from under the doona (duva, quilt) when I first got him, and his ears went back when I tried different names, like Max and others.

My housemate suggested Kurt as a joke. So, I tried it, and he came out from under the doona and allowed me to pick him up. He was just a six week old kitten.

He chose it? LOL! Of course!
