I'm sure we'll be seeing some discussion on this episode.  Gosh, there is so much to hate about it.

Artie was really annoying in this episode.  His attitude and ego were irritating.

They really made a big mistake putting Blaine opposite Rachel in West Side Story.  Darren just can't match Lea vocally on the Broadway songs.

Artie's conversation with Rachel and Blaine was just so bad.  Emma and Beiste were right to leave.

I like that Finn still had loyalty to Kurt when Rachel asked hm who he was voting for.  This was actually a really good Finchel scene.  They were supportive of each other, and it flowed nicely.  Scenes like this would make people like them.

I hate the way Darren dances.  It's just so weird looking for me.

I hate that they made Blaine say the "I want to make sure you're comfortable so I'm comfortable line" because Kurt was the one who brought it up.  Obviously, he was thinking about sex, but of course, they had to make it seem like Kurt was the apprehensive one.  That might have worked with season two Blaine, but not season three Blaine.

Oh, I forgot that Artie asked Bieste about her sex life (or lack there of).  That was so inappropriate on so many levels.

I hate that stairwell.  I wish Kurt never walked down that stairwell.

I love Uptown Girl, but I don't like the Warbler's version.  I guess I'm just not a fan of Curt Mega or Grant Gustin's voices.  And of course Blaine knows all of the warblers' choreography.

Darren's acting in the scene with Sebastian is so awkward.  I just don't get all of the pauses, and weird little head bobbing type stuff.  His expressions were just so off.

Lea really does have a great Broadway voice. I hope that I can see her in a traditional Broadway musical someday.

I hate the puck not using condom thing.  Just not a necessary comment to make.

Kurt's bucket list.  I think it should include, "Never ever speak to Blaine again."

Artie interferring with beiste's love life.  Ugh.  Artie was so bad in this episode.

I am having a hard time watching Blaine in this episode.  Darren was just so awkward in every scene.

Mike's parents sure show up at school a lot.

Why would Rachel include Santana in the conversation? She knows what Santana is like. Quinn gave her good advice.

Blaine driving to the club bugged me.  Since Kurt took the car home, I'm assuming it's his car, and of course Blaine has to be the "man" and drive.

Yeah, Blaine. Sebastian is harmless. Go dance with him why don't you.

I liked the Kurtofsky scene.  It was good to see him adjusting to his life, and Kurt being understanding and comfortable around him.

Jealous Kurt going over to dance was adorable.  Gotta love the shoulder shimmy.

Sloppy drunk is one thing that Darren does really well.  Blaine is so oblivious.  I still say that they should have made Blaine run off to Sebastian after he left Kurt. They could have added so much depth to him then and made interesting storyline.  It would have been a better cheating story than the one we got in season 4.

Of course Blaine is more concerned about one dance move than he is about his relationship. "I can't help but pull focus" is one of my favorite Kurt lines ever.  As it says in my signature, so Chris, so Kurt Smile

Blaine's apology wasn't very sincere.  And that whiny thing he does when he says "I want you to be" is one of his most forced and strange acting choices.  (and he did it again in the phone call in Thanksgiving a year later).  Darren is just so weak as an actor.

I felt bad for Finn. I hate that they set him up to be a directionless Lima loser.  At least Rachel was trying to be supportive. This is when I really like Finchel.

*sigh* this episode. I will say that the editing was flawless though. Blaine was offensive on so many levels. "I only want to have sex with you to make my acting better." Okay you know what? Fuck you, Blaine! At least Rachel told the truth. You know have a problem if Finchels better than you. I don't think Blainw is even remotely attracted to Kurt, which just pisses me off even more. Like seriously, HOW ARE YOU NOT ATTRACTED TO HIM?! are your eyes broken?

No, Bland is just to focused on himself - always.  The writers have tried to make Kurt's character the least desirable character on the show during season one-three.  How they can look at Chris and not see how striking he is and how he holds himself is beyond me.  Out of all the characters - Kurt is the one I have focused on from the beginning.  And the general audience has as well.  I hated this episode for the way they treated Kurt - AGAIN.  His thoughts and feeling don't matter.  It bugs me to no end.  And for Kurt to feel like he HAS to give in - just augh.  He did it for all the wrong reasons.  Kurt is a romantic at heart.  Why can't he have what he wants?  Why is he always treated like shit?

This is literally the only episode I haven't rewatched since it first aired and with good reason - I absolutely hate it.

The concept of Klaine generally repulses me enough as it is but I find their car scene in this episode genuinely disturbing and nauseating - it's horrible.

This is the one episode that I can't rewatch and the episode that put the final nail in the coffin for Klaine to me. Blaine came off as a self absorbed jerk who not only sexually assaulted Kurt, but later had sex with him to improve his Tony performance (a role he never should have gotten). I remember being happy that this was on Fox instead of like Showtime or Hbo so I didn't have to see Blaine in any state of undress. To make it tolerable, I head cannoned that Kurt topped and that is the reason Blaine sucks at dancing for the rest of the season.

The episode actually pointed out how Kurt and Blaine weren't really "talking".  Kurt telling Blaine that shouldn't they want to tear their clothes off was letting Blaine know that Kurt was wondering about their sexless state.

Blaine having the "sex on a stick" conversation with Sebastian IMO wanted to imply that Blaine was intrigued by Sebastian's blatant sexual come on.

The problem was that Kurt's earlier conversation with Blaine which showed that Kurt himself was questioning their status quo was swept aside to imply that Kurt was hesitant/frigid/ holding the couple back from going further.  The did not TALK about it when both realized there were problems in their relationship.  Kurt agreeing to go to Scandals seemed a reaction to the fear that Blaine wanted to do more and Kurt didn't.

I don't blame Blaine for wanting to get down with Kurt in the car scene (it's Kurt and he's hot!), though I though Kurt's reaction was appropriate,  but later the episode's  writing in  Kurt having to apologize for not being a gay bar superstar left a bad taste in my mouth.  Kurt agreeing to have sex because he needed to get over being  repressed/ hesitant was the impression I got, it didn't seem to be because it was the right moment for both of them.

Sebastian was brought in to be the sexually aggressive confident gay who awakened Blaine's urges, say what?

How could I forget this episode if it was so promoted!

What I got from this episode is that Rachel and Kurt lost their virginity because they were under pressure. In the case of Rachel, and being the self-centred she usually is, she needed to keep up with her musical role. And though at the end she understood what she did at first were the wrong reasons to lose her virginity, still I believe she hooked up with Finn because she felt "pity" for him. And that's sad.

As regards Kurt, still I hate he apologized for not being the perfect gay star in the bar for Blaine. What?! From my point of view, the one who had to apologize is Blaine, he's the one who was flirting with another man while his bf was in the bar. Ok, I granted, I like this Kurt who took the first step and proposed to Blaine to go home, because is supposed that he did it, because he was sure about it. However, as I mentioned above, for me it was like he had to do this to please Blaine. And I simply hate that's all about Blaine at the end.

Overall, I think this episode was purposely done to get more rating.

Such an upsetting episode. I haven't rewatched it and hope never to. However, if this is the episode in which Santana described what an awful lover Finn had been (and I think it is), I have to say that (mean as it was), I think her inclusion in that discussion was appropriate. Part of me would doubt that RACHEL would want her there, but even so . . . at least Rachel was warned not to have very high expectations. ;-)

And the teen audience, too. Santana's description of teenage first sex is probably the most realistic.

Part of me felt she was saying those (probably truthful) things not to help Rachel, but to piss her off and remind her that "Hey, you're getting my sloppy seconds, dwarf. I'm a lesbian and I've still gotten more guy action than you." The idea of Finchel grosses me out so much, not only on an emotional level, but physically too. Everything Santana said was probably true, even if it was said to be hurtful.

Agreed. I am sure it was done to hurt Rachel, but it was also the truth. And considering high school boys and Santana's reputation, she probably knew a lot about how lousy the sex could be!

This is why I don't buy the Pezberry friendship. Santana, since seasons one even through season three when they were supposed to be "friends", seems obsessed with picking on Rachel in any way that she can. You can't tell me that she wanted Finn because he's so her type....she wanted Finn because Rachel wanted him, despite being a "lesbian". How petty.

I loved Tina's calm, positive and mature advice and veiws on sex. So healthy. I really like and miss this Tina, quiet but when she does speak up, it's usually for the encouragment of others. I love that she's not all: "You'll have sex, get pregnant or a disease and die! Abstinence ONLY!!!" She treated it as a part of life, as something natural and beautiful, and as a way to get closer with your partner. And she mentioned using protection. Be smart and safe, kids.
