Kurt pretending to polish an apple on his t-shirt is my favorite part of the performance. hapitgh

(plus him pulling Burt up to spin him)

Love that part too. Overall the performance was good and adorable. And I know this KH Appreciation thread, but Chris does know sign language?

I think he knows a tiny bit. He seems to sign simple things on Glee and on the Glee tours whenever he can. Also, he communicated with a deaf girl in sign language (really simple stuff, fingerspelling) last year on his book tour.

I know! I think growing up with his sister's illness made him very compassionate.

I will campaign for this. He'd be fantastic and he is a gigantic Anglophile, so he'd probably enjoy it. He'd get a ton of critical acclaim for it too. bounce

I'm sorry, but the outfits in that time period were all ridiculous, and kind of stupid looking. Even Chris couldn't save it. tonguue

Really? I LOVE the outfits that the women wore. Very beautiful and romantic. Not so sure about the male outfits, though.

Well, considering Chris is indeed a male, that's what I was referring to.

Of course, they could have given him a better one....but chose to go the goofy route. Richard Simmons all over again.

I think Chris could pull the Romeo style off (men in tights!), if he wanted too. He's got the legs for it. Smile
Kurt's Romeo costume was meant to look ridiculous on him (just like his Phantom costume, btw), because Kurt was not 'masculine' enough to pass for straight on stage, remember? dryy

*ahum*
With the risk of sounding like a mod or a mom (which are basically the same, lol): why is this in the Kurt Hummel thread? This photo/manip has got nothing to do with Kurt. Shouldn't this be in the Chris Colfer Appreciation thread instead? saispa

And please gals, I ask you once again: don't keep quoting entire posts so much all the time, causing the rest of us to have to scroll through big walls of text and/or pictures we've seen several times before already to get to maybe a one line response that is your own.
Just quote the last quote or 1 or 2 paragraphs of a long post, and edit most of the rest out, if you must quote at all.
Thanks. cvece

Maybe they gave him that stupid costume to distract from the fact that he, in reality, was actually acting out that role pretty damned well. mince

I like it! Some of the fans are so talented with their various manips. I've seen a lot of Spiderman-Kurt manips that I just love.

The spiderman-manip is fantastic. It was one of those 'I didn't even know I wanted it, but I want it badly now!' moments. Agreed about a historical drama. Chris has the perfect look to fit the Victorian time period blushh .
