^ Wow, I'm not sure if it's the acoustics of the room she's in or if it's purely her singing talent, but this (Korean?) woman's cover of 'Let it Go' is really good. I think I like this version slightly more than the original sung by Idina Menzel.

She's got quite a set of pipes on her. Although I'm not sure if it's the acoustics or the video quality, but the sound seems a little muffled and sketchy in some places. She seemed to strain a little bit on those higher notes (particularly the last power belt), but that's to be expected from someone who hasn't had much vocal training. Even I can't hit those notes, so I gotta give her kudos for having such a good range. Her version did seen more passionate and raw than Idina's which, considering how powerful that scene was in the movie, is definitely amazing. A job well done. neutre

I highly recommend that all of you go and see Rufus Wainwright live if you have the chance. I was at his Vibrate solo concert last night and talk about a man with a voice talent! It was just him, with few sister Lucy assisted songs, for hour and a half. His voice never faltered or broke. And he even sang a song acappella.

This 'Best of' tour is a good place to introduce yourself to his music. Not everyone's taste, but if you want to be enthralled by a good voice then just that alone is enough.

It’s official! After a 16-year absence, Christine McVie will be re-joining Fleetwood Mac band mates Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as they launch the On With The Show Tour. The tour will kick off on Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Minneapolis, Minn. at the Target Center and the reunited band will perform 34 shows in 33 cities across North America. Christine has not toured with the band since 1998’s The Dance Tour.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga have recorded a studio album of standards. There will be a special on PBS in October of a concert they performed. I have to give Lady Gaga props. Her vocal performance on 'Bang Bang' (My Baby Shot Me Down) is impressive. I had no idea she had the ability to sing standards and jazz so gorgeously.

Went to see Aled Jones in concert last night and he is so much better live, really enjoyed the music his voice is so emotive!
My children of course spoils the occasion when I was waxing lyrical about the show, by asking who is he!
So in case anyone doesn't know on this site,m( I know you will cause you are all gifted intelligent people) Aled sang "walking in the air" the song from The snowman Smile
